Who We Are

Fastbreak Sports is a Youth Basketball & Sports Company located in New York City that offers AAU teams, classes, camps, leagues, personal training and more for every age.  At our facility on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, our staff is dedicated to developing youth through sports.

The Jobs:

Fastbreak is currently hiring for both full-time and part -time positions. Positions are available for AAU Coaches (ages 9U through 17U), private training instructors, basketball class lead coaches, class assistant coaches, summer camps, plus multi-sport and kids coaches. Full time positions will encompass multiple roles and facets of coaching.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coach AAU team, travel team and/or in-house league team
• Lead and/or assist on group basketball classes and advanced skills training (Ages 6 – 17)
• Personal basketball training and small group development (Ages 6-17)
• Lead or assist when needed with additional classes or sports
• Lead summer camp groups
• Build connections and relationships with players, parents, coworkers and managers to understand and advance the needs of participants and the company

Requirements:

• Experience or fundamental knowledge of basketball and youth sports (skills, drills, training, etc.)
• High level teaching/coaching experience, OR
• Experience working with children (Minimum 1 – 2 years), preferably in a youth sports role
• Ability to follow, adapt and/or create sports training and curriculum
• Background check is required
• 2 references are required and will be verified
