Friends University women’s basketball head coach Heather Howard has resigned from her position, Friends University Athletic Director Rob Ramseyer has announced.
“We appreciate Heather Howard’s contributions to the women’s basketball program, and wish her the best in the future,” Ramseyer said.
In Howard’s lone season, the Falcons went 12-18 overall and 12-12 in the KCAC to come in tied for seventh in the conference.
Howard also coached a trio of All-KCAC performers this season in Laramie Edens, Lexi Evans and Khadijah Kelly.
A national search for a new women’s basketball head coach will begin immediately.
