According to multiple sources, University of Southern California associate head coach Laura Beeman will be named as the next head coach at Hawaii. An announcement is expected as early as today. Beeman has spent the past two seasons at USC. She spent 15 seasons as the head coach at Mt. San Antonio College before that where she won three straight California Community College State Championships from 2006-2008, for a total of four state titles during her career at Mt. SAC. She also spent time as an assistant to current USC head coach Michael Cooper when he was the head coach of the LA Sparks. Beeman will replace Dana Takahara-Dias who was released earlier this month. More on this as it becomes official.
