Word on the street is that Oral Roberts head coach Jerry Finkbeiner will accept the job Utah State. Finkbeiner has been at ORU for the past 16 seasons and compiled a 273-208 record. Before ORU, Finkbeiner led Southern Nazarene to three straight NAIA national titles and a combined 99-4 record from 1994 to 1996. Finkbeiner posted a 186-20 record in six seasons with the Lady Redskins.

It sounds like the two other finalists for the job were Idaho State women’s head coach Seton Sobolewski and Nebraska women’s associate head coach Sunny Smallwood.
