Multiple sources are reporting that Central Arkansas head coach Matt Daniel will be named as the new head coach at Marshall today. After winning 6 games his first season at UCA, Daniel has put together three straight 20+ win seasons (including a 24-7 record this past year). Before his stint at UCA, Daniel was a high major assistant at Colorado and Missouri. He would replace Royce Chadwick who became the head coach at Texas A&M Corpus Christi in April. A press conference is expected this afternoon.
