I have heard that Illinois State will name their new coach on Monday. According to multiple sources, the choice will be St. Louis associate head coach Barb Smith. She was the head coach at San Diego State from 1997-2002 and has also been an assistant at Minnesota and Cal. We’ll bring you the official announcement once it is made.
