Head women’s basketball coach Holly Borchers has decided to step down from her position at Florida Southern College to pursue other opportunities in her home state of South Dakota. A national search for her replacement will begin immediately.

A native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Borchers spent eight years with the Florida Southern women’s basketball program, including the last two as head coach. During her time with the Moccasins, she helped them win 130 games, two Sunshine State Conference championships, and earn two NCAA Tournament bids.
