HOT: Andrews resigns at St. Francis (IN)

Gary Andrews, Head Coach of the University of Saint Francis’ Women’s Basketball team for the past 14 season, has submitted his resignation, effective April 10th.

Andrews guided the Lady Cougars to 322 career wins and nine NAIA Division II National Tournament appearances during his tenure. He leaves with a 322-141 record including the only NAIA Championship and undefeated season (38-0) in the 41-year history of the women’s program. USF finished 25-10 in Andrews’ final season and was ninth in the final post-season poll last week after losing to eventual 2015 NAIA Champion Morningside University in the NAIA Championship Elite Eight. Andrews’ teams were 17-8 in NAIA Championship competition.6538
