Head coach Jim Flanery announced the return of former Bluejay Chevelle Herring to Creighton as a women’s basketball assistant coach.

Herring served as an assistant coach at Midland University last season, where she worked for current Bluejay assistant Matt Fritsche. Before coming to Midland, Herring coached at Benson High School (2010-11) and with the Omaha Crusaders AAU team (2011 Summer). Herring led the South Dakota Attack, Elite AAU team this summer.
