Graupe relieved of Women’s Basketball Head Coaching duties at Minot State

Minot State University Director of Athletics, Andy Carter, announced that Head Women’s Basketball Coach, Mark Graupe, will no longer lead the program.

“It became evident to me that our women’s basketball was not making the progress we all had expected” said Carter.

The program is currently 2-6 overall and 2-4 in countable NSIC North Division contests. Coach Graupe’s record with the Beavers over the past 3 years is 36-55 overall and 25-47 in NSIC play.

“We appreciate Mark’s hard work on behalf of the women’s basketball program and wish him the best moving forward,” Carter stated.

Assistant Coach Ryan Clark will assume the leadership role through the conclusion of the season.

A national search for the next leader of the program will begin immediately.
