Georgia Tech Adds Michael Wholey To Women’s Basketball Staff

Michael Wholey, proven in recruiting, scouting and developing the talents of perimeter players, was hired as assistant women’s basketball coach at Georgia Tech, Yellow Jacket head coach MaChelle Joseph announced Monday.

At Tech, Wholey will serve as the program’s scouting coordinator and be heavily involved with recruiting and the development of the perimeter players.

Wholey comes to the Flats after five seasons at the University of Memphis, where he was head coach Melissa McFerrin’s first hire. During his time with the Tigers, the program recorded three consecutive 20-win seasons and advanced to post season play in each of the last four seasons.
