Following multiple years of dedicated service to the Fordham Women’s Basketball program, Jenna Cosgrove and Whitney Coleman have each been elevated to the position of assistant coach for the 2014-2015 season.
2014-2015 will mark Cosgrove’s fifth year at Rose Hill, a tenure that saw her begin as an administrative assistant during the 2010-2011 campaign. After one year in that position, Head Coach Stephanie Gaitley elevated Cosgrove to the program’s director of basketball operations, a role in which she excelled for three seasons. The Sharon, Mass., native, who graduated from Endicott College in 2009 and received a masters degree in educational leadership from Fordham in February of 2013, will primarily work with the Rams’ backcourt as an assistant coach.
Whitney Coleman, the ninth leading scorer in men’s basketball history at Monmouth University, has been elevated to the position of assistant coach following three seasons as the team’s video coordinator. Coleman holds both graduate and undergraduate degrees from Monmouth, where he also ranks first in career games played and fifth in career steals. In his new role as an assistant, Coleman, a Salem, Conn., and St. Thomas More product, will work primarily with the team’s front court players.
