Randolph-Macon College invites applications for a full-time Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. Randolph-Macon is a Division III member institution participating in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and team skill instruction to student-athletes and provide individualized coaching/tutoring/mentoring to student-athletes.
- Review opponent video and create and provide scouting reports.
- Determine specific daily practice activities that will be conducted by student-athletes and meet with Head Coach to plan.
- Oversee all social media accounts including drafting and creating mailers to be sent to prospective student-athletes.
- Identify and recruit talented and academically qualified prospective student-athletes.
- Collaborate with Head Coach to develop annual goals for the program.
- Assist with fundraising, marketing and promotional activities including organizing and running camps/clinics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and previous competitive playing and/or coaching experience at the college or university level required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with satisfactory motor vehicle record by insurance standards.
- Successful applicant must demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills as well as be committed to the policies and regulations of the ODAC and NCAA Division III.
