Eric Bozeman Steps Down as Head Coach at Northwestern Oklahoma

Eric Bozeman, Northwestern Oklahoma State’s Women’s Basketball coach has stepped down and has accepted the Assistant Men’s Basketball position at Itawamba Community College in Fulton, Miss.

“Eric has done a good job of making progress with our Women’s Basketball program and for that we are grateful,” said Director of Athletics Andy Carter.

Bozeman compiled a 23-55 record in three seasons at Northwestern, with the best finish coming in the 2014-15 season where he led the Rangers to a 10-16 record, good enough for a tie for sixth place in the Great American Conference.

Bozeman’s teams progressively got better throughout the three seasons as they increased their wins every year he was at the helm.

“This program is on the verge of accomplishing something special and our plan is to continue to move forward,” Carter said.

A national search for our next Women’s Head Basketball Coach will begin immediately.
