Our good friend and NBA Shooting Coach John Townsend demonstrates a great 3-point shooting challenge called Plus 5.

This drill focuses on the difference between makes and misses as players try for a score of plus 5. Made shots are plus 1 and missed shots are minus 1. This means if a player has 5 missed shots they need to have 10 makes, 4 missed shots and 9 makes, etc. to be at a total of plus 5.
Remember to focus on your hand position and your lift as you shoot, keeping the basketball aligned with 90 degree corner of your elbow.
