Around the world Progression

Drill 1: Baseline to Baseline Shooting

Player 1 gets a pass from the Dish. Player 1 then passes to player 2 at the baseline for a mid-range shot. After, Player 2 runs to the opposite baseline for another pass from Player 1 and shoots.

Drill 2: One Arm Leg Wrap Ball Handling

Players will dribble to half court wrapping the ball between their leg with their right hand and then switch to the left hand on the way back from half court.

Drill 3: Wing to Wing Shooting

Player 1 gets a pass from the Dish at the top of the key and passes to player 2 at the wing for a shot off the glass. Player 2 then runs to the opposite wing as player 1 gets another pass from the Dish and passes out to Player 2 for a shot.

Drill 4: In and Out Ball Handling

Players will focus on bringing the ball all the way across their body as they dribble in and out with one hand to half court. The player will then switch hands on the way back from half court.

Drill 5: Elbow to Elbow Shooting

Players will get a pass from the Dish at the elbow for a jump shot. Then the player will run behind the basket for a v-cut out to the opposite elbow for another pass from the Dish and jump shot.

The progression finishes with players working on their free throw routine. This progression will allow players to work on shots from all areas of the court and strengthen their ball handling skills!
