A few things that I’ve heard…

• I can confirm that Phil Daniel has been named as the interim head coach at Murray State College (OK). He takes over for Crystal Robinson who departed last week for an assistant spot at Southern Utah. Before joining the MSC staff, Daniel was a very successful HS coach in Oklahoma amassing over 500 career wins (he also coached Robinson to a state title at Atoka HS).

• I have heard that Garden City Community College head coach Alaura Sharp is in line to become an assistant at Southern Mississippi. She just completed her fourth season at Garden City where her squad went 29-4. An official announcement is expected any day.

• I have heard that Maurtice Ivy is no longer the head coach at Peru State (NE). She had just completed her sixth season at the helm. I have not seen an official press release yet from the school.

• It sounds like Jessica Underwood has been named as an assistant at Roxbury CC (MA). She is a former player at the school.
