A few things that I’ve heard this morning…

• I can confirm that Shaquala Williams is no longer an assistant at Seattle. She had been on staff there for the past two seasons. She is a former assistant at Sacramento State who played in the WNBA after her graduation from Oregon. No word yet on a replacement.

• Apparently there was a staff shake-up at Loyola-Chicago. Assistant coach Keisha Newel and DBO Chrissy Dizon are no longer on the staff. I have heard the head coach Cheryl Swoopes will be looking for a 2nd and 3rd assistant along with a DBO. We’ll post those jobs in our jobs section as soon as we can.

• Julie Brown is out as the head coach at Gordon College. There has been no official announcement from the college, but her job has already been posted (http://www.whoopdirt.com/job/787afab5/head-coach-gordon-coll…). She went 17-83 in four seasons at the school.
