D3 NEWS: Wells resigns as Women’s Basketball Head Coach at Buena Vista

David Wells has resigned as the women’s basketball coach coach at D3 Buena Vista University (IA).

Wells had been the Beavers head coach for the past five seasons, where he put together a 19-85 (.183) record. This year, BVU went 3-20 (2-14 American Rivers Conference).

Prior to his time at Buena Vista, Wells had served as an assistant coach at Metropolitan State Denver (2013-19) and Millersville University (2011-13).

A national search is expected.
