I can confirm that Marcel Pettway will take over as the women’s basketball head coach at D3 Lesley University (MA).
Pettway most recently served as the assistant men’s basketball coach at recruiting coordinator at D2 St. Thomas Aquinas College (NY).
He played collegiately at D1 Bryant University, and D2 Angelo State.
Pettway will replace Martin Rather who went 12-39 in two season, with a 10-game improvement from year one to year two (1 win to 11 wins).
An official announcement is expected shortly.
