Tim Bernero is no longer the women’s basketball head coach at Carthage College (WI).

The veteran coach, and 300 game winner, had spent the past twenty seasons leading the Firebirds. Hired back in 2003, Bernero put together an overall record of 311-208 (.599) during his tenure. He is also the school’s all-time winningest women’s basketball coach.

Bernero Tweeted the following over the weekend:

Since it happened on Friday afternoon and there’s been no release, I’d like to let folks know I am no longer the women’s basketball coach at Carthage.
