Kerry Jenkins is no longer the head women’s basketball coach at D2 Wilmington University (DE). There has not been an official release by the school, but current baseball coach Brian August is now listed on the roster as the WBB Head Coach.

Jenkins took over in May of 2021 after an 11-year stint as the head women’s basketball coach at D3 Oberlin. He had also served as a D1 assistant at both Vermont and Yale. During Jenkins two plus year stint at Wilmington, he compiled a 4-56 (.067) record. The Wildcats are currently 0-9 this season.

August, who also serves as the associate director of athletics, has been at Wilmington for the past 19 years. He has won over 500 games leading the baseball program.
