Crossroads College names Denny head coach

Crossroads College Director of Athletics A.J. Carson announced today the hiring of Blaine Denny as the new Head Women’s Basketball Coach. Denny holds a B.S. in Psychology from Phillips University (OK) and a M.S. in Criminal Psychology/Counseling from Walden University. Denny served as an assistant boy’s basketball coach for 8 seasons at Rufus King High School in Milwaukee, WI. During his time at Milwaukee King, Denny was a part of 3 state championship teams and helped facilitate the development of over 25 players that went on to play NCAA D1 and D2 basketball. Denny went on to land several different head and assistant coaching jobs at Huron University (SD), Luther College (IA), Western Illinois, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, Saint Joseph’s College (IN) and Marshalltown Community College (IA). Denny is also a recruiting coordinator and has held that position at many of the schools he has coached at.
