UAH women’s basketball head coach Allen Sharpe has announced the hiring of Summer Cramer as assistant coach ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
Cramer comes to the Chargers after spending the last two seasons as an assistant for Reinhardt University’s women’s basketball team, as she helped guide the Eagles to a 49-12 overall record in her two campaigns.
Prior to starting her coaching career, Cramer played basketball collegiately at the University of the Cumberlands in 2018-19, Trinity Christian College from 2019-22 and Reinhardt University in 2022-23. She additionally competed in softball and golf during her tenure at Trinity Christian.
She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in accounting from Trinity Christian in 2022, before earning her MBA from Reinhardt in 2023.
Cramer joins a UAH squad that achieved the program’s best overall record in the NCAA era with a 25-7 mark that included a record of 18-4 in Gulf South Conference games. The Chargers reached the GSC tournament title game and also earned the program’s first berth to the NCAA Division II tournament since 2020.
