Colgate University head women’s basketball coach Nicci Hays Fort has announced that Nikki Flores will join the Raiders staff as an assistant coach. Flores comes to Colgate after spending the last three seasons as an assistant coach at Holy Family University.
Flores was also an assistant coach at Norwich University for one season prior to joining the Tigers staff at Holy Family.
Flores had a highly decorated four-year playing career at Marist College. In her senior season, Flores was tabbed as an All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) second team selection. She was a co-captain and averaged 9.7 points and 3.2 assists in 35 games. As a freshman in 2005, Flores was selected to the MAAC All-Rookie team. She was also a three-time member of the MAAC All-Academic (2006, 2007, 2008) and All-Tournament (2005, 2006, 2008) teams.
