The Coaching Box
The Coaching Box is a weekend camp for rising men’s and women’s college coaches who are managers, DOBOs, video coordinators, GAs or any young coaches. Networking is vital to help you get a job but networking doesn’t help you on the court teaching the game. We will have 10 experienced college coaches teaching you how to coach the game.
“Who you know gets you there – WHAT you know keeps you there.”
We are here to help you with the “WHAT.” This will be a very intense weekend of on the floor teaching so you will feel comfortable COACHING. You will feel comfortable blowing a whistle, demanding perfection and truly learning how to be a teacher of the game. THIS IS NOT A CLINIC. This is a camp for you. You are the ones who will be on the floor or in the meeting room.

Networking and technology are a must but at The Coaching Box you will learn how to coach on the court. You will learn how to do an individual workout for perimeter players and post players. You will learn to teach shell drill, how to put in a zone offense, how to implement man-to-man offense, and how to defend ball screens.

A Message From John Shulman President of 720 Sports Group.
I am so excited to be able to host The Coaching Box. It has always been a passion of mine to help young coaches get a chance to live the dream. I am one of the lucky ones that got a chance to do so. We want to help you get that same opportunity. Networking is vital, resumes are essential and graphics are the new thing but… At the end of the day, you have to be able to coach and feel comfortable teaching and instructing. We want to help, we will help and we can help. One of the major jobs that 720 Sports Group does is preparing coaches and helping them navigate their careers. We have had great success on both the men’s side and women’s side of coaching. We hope to see you in August.
