Fourth-year University of Colorado women’s basketball assistant Jonas Chatterton has been promoted to Associate Head Coach, Buffaloes’ head coach Linda Lappe announced on Wednesday.
Chatterton has been a member of Lappe’s staff since the very beginning of her reign, joining the program on June 9, 2010. He assists with recruiting, opponent scouting, post play development, offensive and defensive schemes and serves as the program’s liaison with marketing and promotions.
His first three seasons at Colorado have been memorable to say the least. Chatterton’s record on the CU bench is a sterling 64-37, including three-straight postseason appearances. The Buffaloes had one of their best seasons in over a decade in 2012-13, finishing at 25-7, fourth in the Pac-12 Conference, and advancing to the 13th NCAA Tournament in program history, and first since 2004.
