The University of Central Oklahoma athletics department announced Wednesday a change in leadership with the women’s basketball program, parting ways with head women’s coach Emma Andrews after three seasons.
Central Oklahoma went 27-57 in three seasons under Andrews’ leadership, making a postseason appearance in 2023 before missing the conference tournament in each of the last two seasons.
“I want to thank coach Andrews for her service and contribution to the program,” UCO Vice President for Athletics Stan Wagnon said. “We wish her nothing but the best as she moves into future endeavors.”
UCO went 11-17 and won an MIAA tournament game in 2022-23 before posting 8-20 records in both 2023-24 and 2024-25.
The search for a new head women’s basketball coach will begin immediately.
