HOT: Volunteer State CC head coach fired

Volunteer State Community College women’s head basketball coach Chris Harris has been fired by the school. An apparent violation of NJCAA rules led to his termination. Harris led his team to a 23-5 record and an NJCAA Tournament appearance last season. He had spent the past four seasons at the school compiling an 83-29 record.
