Petersen And North Texas Mutually Agree To Part Ways

North Texas and Mike Petersen have mutually agreed to end Petersen’s tenure as Mean Green women’s basketball coach, North Texas Director of Athletics Rick Villarreal announced Tuesday. "Coach Petersen is one of the best people and coaches I’ve ever been around, and I’m as surprised as anyone that we are at this point," said Villarreal.

Lynn University (FL) Dirt…

It sounds like Lynn University (FL) head coach Niki Washington is no longer the coach there. Washington was hired in 2009 and compiled 79-85 record during her tenure. Before coming to Lynn, she spent six years as an assistant at Florida A&M. More on this when it becomes official.

HOT RUMOR: Williams out at Air Force

According to multiple sources, Air Force will not retain head coach Andrea Williams. This was the final year of her five year contract which was signed in the summer of 2010.
