College of Charleston women’s basketball head coach Natasha Adair has announced the addition of Melba Chambers as her assistant coach.

Chambers, who brings over 10 years of coaching and playing experience to the Cougars staff, played for Adair and associate head coach Bob Clark at Georgetown in the 1998-99 season.

Most recently Chambers served as assistant coach/recruiting coordinator for the Bowie State Bulldogs in Bowie, Md. In that role she was also responsible for the development of the guards.
