Jacob DeWilde has been added to the Butler women’s basketball staff as graduate assistant. DeWilde comes to Butler after spending one season at Indiana University Southeast near Louisville.
In his position at Butler, DeWilde will coordinate team travel as well as oversee the student managers. He will also have duties coordinating game logistics with Butler’s opponents.
DeWilde comes to BU after helping IUS to a 26-8 season last year. IU-Southeast, located in New Albany, Ind., won its conference tournament as well. Prior to that, DeWilde coached at St. Vincent High School in Perryville, Mo. St. Vincent posted the school’s first 20-win season and captured conference and district championships. DeWilde also coached football at St. Vincent.
