Eastern Illinois director of athletics Barbara Burke has announced that Lee Buchanan has resigned his position as the Panther women’s basketball head coach.

Buchanan served six years on the Panthers staff with five as an assistant under former head coach Brady Sallee and the last year as the head coach guiding EIU to a 20-12 record that included an OVC regular season co-championship and WNIT appearance.
