Dominique Bryant has been promoted to Associate Head Women’s Basketball Coach at the University of Vermont.
Bryant is in her fifth season with the women’s basketball program and has played a key role in Vermont’s resurgence in America East. In her work with Vermont’s post players she helped Hanna Crymble ’20 develop into a force on both ends of the floor. As a senior, she led the team in scoring and was the first Catamount since 2008 to be named America East Defensive Player of the Year. Last season first year forward Anna Olson became the first Catamount to be named America East Rookie of the Year since 2007. Olson led the Catamounts last season with 13.3 points-per game and 6.8 rebounds-per game.
“We are thrilled to promote Dominique to Associate Head Coach,” said Mayer Women’s Basketball Coach Alisa Kresge. “Dominique is heavily involved and responsible for developing our players and team. She has helped shape our program in all areas. Dominique is well on her way to becoming a head coach very soon and we’re very lucky to have her.”
