Louisiana Tech Athletics Director Tommy McClelland will introduce Tyler Summitt as the sixth head coach in Lady Techster basketball history during a press conference scheduled for noon on Wednesday in the Jarrell Room of the Charles Wyly Athletic Center.

The press conference will be open to all Louisiana Tech fans, and the media is asked to arrive and be set up by 11:45 a.m. Neither Summitt nor Louisiana Tech officials will comment further on the hiring until the Wednesday press conference.

Summitt, the son of legendary Tennessee Hall of Fame coach Pat Summitt, takes over the reins of the storied Lady Techster program following two years as an assistant coach at Marquette University.
