BREAKING: Southern Maine’s Fifield retires

Southern Maine head coach Gary Fifield has announced his retirement after 27 years at the as the Huskies head coach. He retires with 660 wins, and five Final Four appearances (1988, 1998, 2000, 2005 and 2006). This past season, the Huskies went 12-14 – the first losing season ever during Fifield’s tenure. He is also srepping down from his position as the Associate AD.
