A reliable source has confirmed with me the Northeastern head coach Daynia La-Force has accepted an offer to become the next head coach at the University of Rhode Island. The official announcement is expected either this afternoon or tomorrow morning. La-Force just wrapped up here eighth season at NU, and was the head coach at New Haven before that. I will pass along the official statement once it is released.
