Chancellor Dugan is officially out as the head coach at Florida Atlantic. This has been a pretty interesting story….she received word that she would not be retained last March – but she would coach the 2011-2012 season. After leading her team to the NIT, many thought that she would be safe. Apparently that’s not the case – I can confirm that she has been relieved of her duties. According to a source, she was offered another 1-year contract after her NIT run, but found that unacceptable. A very strange situation to say the least.
