Natasha Adair has accepted an offer to become the next women’s basketball head coach at the College of Charleston. Adair, 39, spent the last eight years as an assistant to women’s basketball head coach Mike Petersen at Wake Forest University. She was promoted to associate head coach in 2007 and helped guide the Demon Deacons to four postseason tournament appearances including the program’s second 20-win campaign (20-14) and a run to the NIT Second Round this past season. She replaces Nancy Wilson who retired at the end of the season. Wilson coached at C of C for 17 years and 30 total years, is 18th among active NCAA Division I women’s basketball coaches with 542 victories.
A formal press conference to introduce Adair as the seventh all-time head coach in program history is set for Tuesday, March 27 at 3 p.m. (ET)
