Director of Athletics Bob King has announced that Head Women’s Basketball Coach Amie Bradley has resigned from Trinity University.
Coach Bradley won 117 games in her seven full seasons with the Tigers, including three seasons in which the team reached 20 wins. She led Trinity to the NCAA Playoffs twice in her career, losing in the first round in both 2006 and 2008.
During her tenure, the Tiger women’s basketball team earned the top seed in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference West Division in both 2008 and 2009. Coach Bradley led Trinity to the SCAC Championship game in 2006 and 2009, but fell just short of winning the conference titles in both years.
King also indicated that Trinity will begin its search process immediately, and will look to hire just its third women’s basketball coach in the past 20 years.
