With a multitude of playing experience as a former WNBA and Michigan State University player, Kristin Haynie returns to the state of Michigan as an assistant women’s basketball coach at Eastern Michigan University.

A 2005 graduate of MSU who helped the Spartans make it to the 2005 NCAA National Championship game, Haynie spent five seasons in the WNBA with the Sacramento Monarchs, Atlanta Dream and Detroit Shock. She has also logged time playing professional in Lithuania, Russia, Greece and Italy.
