Case Western Reserve University Director of Athletics Amy Backus and Head Women’s Basketball Coach Jennifer Reimer have announced the hiring of Alexandra Dellas as the Assistant Coach of the Spartans’ women’s basketball team.

“We are thrilled that Alex has joined our women’s basketball staff,” said Reimer. “Her experience and her enthusiasm will be a huge asset to our program as we continue to move forward.”

Dellas comes to Cleveland following a three-year stint as an assistant coach at Williams College. During her time on the staff, she helped coach the Ephs to three NCAA appearances including one appearance in the final four. Dellas also mentored two All-Americans and one NESCAC Player of the Year.

Dellas graduated with a bachelor’s in Communications from Hiram College in 2010 and then finished her master’s of Broadcast with an emphasis in reporting and editing sports in May of 2012.
