Melissa Graves, the head coach of the Boston University women’s basketball team, has announced the addition of Domenic Deluca to her staff ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Deluca, who joins BU following a stint at Boston College, will serve as the team’s video coordinator. Deluca served as a graduate assistant for the Boston College women’s basketball team, where he supported daily operations by assisting with practice planning, player development and game preparation.
Prior to his role with the Eagles, Deluca served as the head coach of the Medford High School girls basketball team. He was hired at just 20 years old, making him the youngest Varsity girls basketball coach in Massachusetts during his three-year tenure.
While at Medford High School, he took over a program that had won nine games in three years and turned it into a program that won 37 games in the following three seasons. With Deluca’s guidance, the Mustangs had back-to-back state tournament appearances for the first time since 2008. He earned several awards during this time, including three consecutive Tufts Classic Coach awards and GBL Coach of the Year.
Deluca earned his bachelor’s degree in sports movement science with a concentration in sports management from Salem State University in 2024, then went on to earn his master’s degree in sports administration from Boston College in May 2026.
