Bemidji State University Women’s Basketball Head Coach Madison McKeever has announced the hiring of Bodie Hadenfeldt as her second assistant for the 2026-27 season.
Hadenfeldt spent the 2025-26 season as an assistant coach at Fort Hays Tech Northwest, where he was involved in all aspects of the NJCAA women’s basketball program. His responsibilities included player development, scouting and film breakdown, recruiting, practice planning, game preparation, travel coordination, and daily program operations.
Prior to Fort Hays Tech Northwest, Hadenfeldt spent four seasons as a student assistant with the Mount Mercy University men’s basketball program while earning his bachelor’s degree in management and marketing. During his time with the Mustangs, he assisted with recruiting, scouting, player development, individual workouts, practice organization, and social media content.
Away from the college game, Hadenfeldt has spent more than five years coaching with All Iowa Attack Basketball, helping develop high-level student-athletes while coaching multiple age groups. He is also a USA Basketball Gold Licensed coach and NCAA Certified.
A three-sport athlete at Prairie High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Hadenfeldt brings a passion for player development, relationship-building, and creating a positive team culture. He believes in helping student-athletes succeed both on and off the court while building programs founded on accountability, communication, and daily improvement.
Basketball has always been a family affair for Hadenfeldt. He enjoys spending time with his family and following the careers of his younger siblings. His sister, Brynlie, is a freshman student-athlete at Colorado College, and his brother, Brycen, is a point guard at Prairie High School in Cedar Rapids.
