Raritan Valley Community College is currently seeking a Head Coach for Women’s Basketball. RVCC is a member of the NJCAA and Region XIX. RVCC currently offers 8 intercollegiate athletic programs that compete at the NJCAA DII or NJCAA DIII levels. Women’s Basketball competes at the NJCAA DIII non-scholarship level.

Essential Duties:

Head Coach is responsible for recruiting the appropriate number of well qualified student-athletes, scheduling and running practices, game day preparations and in game coaching and overseeing assistant coaches.

Head Coach is also responsible for reporting scores, statistics, game highlights, award nominations and other sports information needs within the time frame as assigned by Director of Athletics.

Head Coach is also required to attend specific department functions as assigned by Director of Athletics and obtain certifications/training required and offered by RVCC.

Requirements:

Associate’s degree required.

Proven successful coaching and playing experience required. Must possess technical knowledge in all aspects of coaching basketball.
