The Women’s Basketball Program at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is currently recruiting for a Director of Basketball Operations/Assistant Coach. This position will report to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach and will assist with all aspects of running a successful Division I Women’s Basketball program, while adhering to all NCAA, UW-Green Bay, UW System and State of Wisconsin rules, regulations and policies.

This position includes the following responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the women’s basketball program.
• Be active on the court coaching players during skill workouts, practices and games.
• Assist with the on campus recruitment of student-athletes, including but not limited to: development of recruiting materials to provide prospective student athletes, official and unofficial visits, breakdown of video provided by prospective student athletes.
• Duties will be performed within the scope of the rules and regulations required by the NCAA.
• Coordinate travel arrangements for all women’s basketball away games including, but not limited to, bussing, airfare, hotels, and food.
• Prepare team travel expense reports that include required documentation for all expenses incurred and track expenses to ensure actual expenses stay within the team travel budget.
• Organize and communicate with KEC staff for Facility scheduling in regard to practices, workouts, team functions and special events and organize all game day ticketing for home and away games.
• Assist in fundraising for the women’s basketball and athletics department; attend fundraising events as requested by the Head Coach and Director of Athletics and/or his/her designee.
• Work with Graphic Design/Video hardware and software for creative content creation.
