Buscaglia resigns as Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Robert Morris

Robert Morris University Vice President and Director of Athletics Chris King announced a change in leadership in the women’s basketball program, following head coach Charlie Buscaglia’s resignation from the program Monday.

“We thank Charlie for his efforts on behalf of RMU women’s basketball,” King said. “We wish him well personally and professionally moving forward.”

In eight seasons, Buscaglia leaves RMU with an overall record of 126-102, including 6-18 (2-13 Horizon) this season.

Associate head coach Scott Schneider will serve as the acting head coach for the remainder of the season.

A national search will begin immediately. The RMU athletics department will have no further comment on the search until the conclusion of the search process.
