I can confirm that Mike West is no longer the head women’s basketball coach at D2 University of Bridgeport.

West had been the Purple Knights head coach for the past two seasons. He racked up an 18-33 (.353) record during his tenure, including a 9-18 (5-13) mark this past season. West has also served as the head coach at Chestnut Hill college and an assistant at Hofstra and Jefferson University.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
