Jasmine Perkins has been named as the director of basketball operations at William & Mary.
Perkins joins the Tribe after serving in the same role at Wake Forest last season where she oversaw the day-to-day operations of the program and coordinated team travel.
The Demon Decans experienced success during her time in Winston-Salem, as they advanced to the second round of the WNIT.
Prior to her stint at Wake Forest, Perkins spent two seasons as a graduate assistant at Georgetown University. Among her responsibilities in that role were overseeing the program’s strategic cultural development and academics.
Perkins also spent time honing her multifaceted skills working as an operations intern for the Washington Football Team, serving in various game-day roles such as improving operational efficiency and guest experience.
Before embarking upon her professional career, Perkins was a standout midfielder on the lacrosse team at Bryant University where she led the team in caused turnovers as a senior.
Perkins founded and is currently the president of Words of Knowledge Empower (WOKE) Athletes creating a network of student-athletes dedicated to the enhancement of diversity and inclusion within Bryant Athletics.
Perkins earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Bryant in 2019 and a master’s degree in sports industry management from Georgetown in 2021.
