University of Arkansas Monticello head women’s basketball coach Markell Cox has resigned. He released the following statement on Twitter earlier this morning:

Cox had been the head coach at UAM for the past two seasons. This season, his squad went 0-28, and 1-7 during a COVID abbreviated 2020-21 campaign.
